At the Lecht Activity Centre (Strathdon), you can participate in many fun activities. During the Winter, you can try Downhill skiing, snowboarding, snowtubing (in a sledge for one or two like a great big inner tube!), devalkarts (they have brakes & steering but no engine) and quad bikes when conditions permit. You can hire skis, snowboards and blades, and receive qualified instruction. There is a chairlift and 13 tows with capacity of 10,050 people per hour, snowmaking on most slopes, on-site half-pipe cutter and snowboard fun park.
Summer fun includes skills centre and bike hire, chairlift rides, quad bikes, fun karts, kiddies karts and devalkarts. Uplift for karts and bikes by chairlift. Unique “pay and play” swipe card system gives great value. You will also find two bespoke bike tracks designed especially for the Lecht. One Red 1950m and one Blue 2250m. Both tracks will be Berms, tabletop, Hip and step-up jumps, bomb holes, double jumps and switchbacks as well as rocky features. Uplift is by chairlift. There is also a skill park for learning new skills on different objects and bike hire.
During Summer and Winter, the White Hare café and shop are open.

For those less active the Ptarmigan restaurant, reached by the funicular railway is a lovely place to enjoy the scenery whilst sipping a hot chocolate, from the coldest of days in Winter to the warmer Summer months.
During the Winter months, pedestrian access from the restaurant is permitted but during the Summer only as part of the organised guided walks.
