Q: Alterations to bookings: What’s the position if I need to make a change after I have made my booking?
A: Once we have confirmed your booking, you may, up to 6 weeks before the holiday start date, change your original booking dates within the same calendar year, subject to availability and payment of any outstanding difference in price.

Q: Arrival & departure: What days and times do we arrive & leave the lodge?
A: Your break is for a minimum of 2 nights. The usual book-in time is 4pm and we ask that you vacate the lodge by 10.00am on the date of departure.

Q: Assistance dogs: Can I bring my guide/hearing dog?
A: Registered assistance dogs are welcome to stay but we respectfully request that they are not allowed on the bed or furniture and that clean up any mess from outside areas.

Q: Bed linen and towels: What linen is supplied?
A: Towels and bed linen are supplied (but not cot linen) and beds will be made up prior to your arrival.

Q: Cancellations: what if I need to cancel my holiday?
A: Please contact us immediately if you need to cancel and confirm in writing (by post or e mail). See our terms and conditions.

Q: Cleaning: Is the accommodation cleaned between and during holidays?
A: The lodge is cleaned and beds changed after each guest leaves. If you are staying for more than one week, please let us know whether or not you would like this scheduled cleaning to take place whilst you are there. As change over time is limited, we would be grateful if you could vacate the lodge on time and leave it clean and tidy.

Q: Complaints: what happens if we encounter problems on our holiday?
A: Please contact us straight away so that any remedial action can be taken as soon as possible.

Q: Cots & highchairs: Are cots and highchairs supplied?
A: A travel cot and high chair are supplied.

Q: Payments, deposit & confirmation: What is the procedure for booking and paying for our visit?
A: We ask for a deposit at the time of booking, with the balance due 6 weeks before the start of your holiday. If your holiday is 6 weeks or less from the date you make the booking, we would ask for payment in full. Please read our terms and conditions and feel free to contact us if you have any queries.

Q: Pets: Can we bring our pet/s on holiday with us?
A: Please contact us in first instance.

Q: Prices: What does the price of my holiday include?
A: The price you pay is inclusive of VAT and covers exclusive use of the lodge, water, electricity, heating and linen.

Q: Short breaks: Can I book a short break?
A: You can book short breaks of 2 days or more.

Q: Smoking: Can I smoke in the accommodation?
A: Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the lodge. If you wish to smoke on the veranda, please make sure the patio doors are closed to prevent smoke entering the living area.

Q: Standard equipment: What equipment will be in the accommodation?

A: The living area has a television with free-sat, a dvd player and a hifi. The kitchen contains a washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, electric oven and hob, kettle and toaster. Heating is via electric panel heaters and in addition, there is a wall-mounted feature fire in the living area and a heated towel-rail in the bathroom.

Q: Visitors with mobility problems: Is the accommodation suitable for people with mobility problems?
A: The lodge is on a single level so should present few problems to those who are less mobile. There are however, three steps leading to/from the front door which could be difficult for some people and, although there is a power shower in the bathroom, it is necessary to climb into the bath to make use of it. If you have any concerns, please contact us prior to booking.

Q: Wifi/Mobile ‘phone signals: Can I use my PC/mobile in the lodge?
A: Due to the remote location, there is limited mobile ‘phone signal and no wifi so you have the perfect excuse to relax!
